Super Tuesday is past. What now?

Come and meet Lindsay Hopkins, the new Political Director for the Orange County Democratic Party. I've asked Lindsay to cover a lot of subjects: What can we do now that our primary is over? She'll explain how delegates are chosen for the August convention and how we can keep on getting new members for our party so we can help build a Democratic victory for candidates up and down the ticket in November.

We can also talk about Super Delegates, who they are, and how they might influence the nomination process. For those who are really rabid supporters of either of our candidates, can Californians help out in other states?

We mustn't forget our local candidates either. Believe it or not, there is another primary in June! If you believe that all politics is local, then you'll need to stay active between now and November.

Also, please don't forget to bring some food donations for Linda's worthwhile project. Many people are hurting, especially during this economic downturn. Let's fill up her containers with non-perishable food items.

Please join us at Spoons for some snacks, drinks, dinner, or a yummy dessert at 6:30. Our formal program begins at 7:15. Make some new Democratic friends and let's get geared up for a winning election season.
